Study on Reducing Wave-making and Resistance of Amphibious Vehicle with Simulation

In order to advance wave-making and water loading of amphibious vehicle head,reduce steering resistance,flat anti-wave board was changed into cuspate shape based on bionics principle.To simulate flow of two kinds of anti-wave board accurately,numerical simulations were carried through by using volume of fluid(VOF)multiphase.For enhancing computing speed and track flow field,which was partitioned into different sub-domains,grid shape and size were not the same with each other.Simulation results show that diversion function of cuspate shape is very well,wallop that water act on anti-wave board,water loading and resistance are reduced,and wave-making is advanced.
