The purpose of this study is to analyse the work environment characteristics that impact on health and well-being of office workers. Questionnaire concerning satisfaction with work environment, environment conditions, and physical symptoms was analyzed. The correlation between physical symptoms and environment condition, and environment condition and satisfaction with work environment was investigated. Results show that the environment conditions such as illumination, temperature, humidity, and noise do not affect the physical symptoms and air quality has the greatest impact on physical symptoms. Therefore it is necessary to improve the indoor air quality through proper ventilation. Office furniture and office equipment including chair, monitor, keyboard, and mouse have impact on musculoskeletal disorders. The results of this study can be utilized as useful information to improve the quality of the work environment affecting the productivity of office workers.
