FAST VOLTAGE STABILITY ANALYSIS METHODS BASED ON STATIC EQUIVALENCE AND SINGULAR VALUE RESOLUTION

Two static equivalent methods are used to acquire equivalent parameters of power systems in this paper. The first method is based on Thevenin network equivalent theory. The second method calculates load flows two times. These two methods combine feature and requirement of power systems and use the base-case system information. Based on the two methods, voltage stability analysis is completed. The Q-V, P-V, P-Q curves and the minimum singular values, which have distinctive physical meaning and require less computation work compared with the margin methods expressed by previous singular value, can be quickly got by these two methods respectively. The results given from IEEE 14-bus system and IEEE 30-bus system simulations show the effectiveness of the two methods.
