A Novel Voltage Regulator Module With Active Floating Charging Landing

Multiphase interleaving synchronous Buc converter is widely adopted for voltage regulator module. A the small duty cycle of basic buck converter when it has hig input voltage but low output voltage, Buck converter wit active floating charging landing, which is a novel voltag regulator module is proposed. The steady and dynamic analys and further discussion of this novel topology is given Performances of this novel converter are compared with thos of traditional two phases interleaving synchronous buc converter under the same experimental specifications. Th results show that the new topology not only has large voltag conversion capability and interleaving inductor current, but als low switches stress, high efficiency. Moreover the curren unbalance between inductors in each phase is remove automatically without any current sensing means, so simplif the control circuit.
