Digital Image Processing Method of Coal Gangues

The paper investigates the digital characteristics of coal and gangue images. By extracting the characteristics, enhancing the edges and comparing the gradation, the image is segmented and the regions of coal and gangues are gained. The mode of coal gangues is recognized, thus the automatic separation rate of coal gangues is increased.
