Calculation of Ground Bearing Capacity of Geocell Reinforced Foundation

When determining geocell bearing capacity of reinforced foundation in the area of foundation improvement,the calculation formula about geogrid such as reinforcement layer is still applied,and only some of the parameters were modified,and the calculation error of the ground bearing capacity is large.Ground bearing capacity calculation formula of geocell flexible raft foundation was deduced based on E.Winkler's theory of elastic foundation beam.The related calculation parameters were fixed,and the accuracy of the formula was verified by model test result.The result indicates that(1) the deduced calculation formula has high accuracy,but the result is calculated based on the condition that sedimentation is known;(2) there is some error if there is obvious inflexion in P-S curve,and there are many factors affecting the accuracy of bearing capacity calculation,including assumption of E.Winkler foundation,parameter sampling and so on.
