A Novel and Simple Synthesis of 9H-Pyrimido[4,5-b]indoles under Microwave Irradiation and Solvent-Free Conditions

A novel synthesis of 9 H-pyrimido[4,5- B]indoles is described from a simple microwave-assisted reaction between oxindoles and aryl nitriles under solvent-free conditions in good to excellent yields.
