NC Milling Parameters Optimization Based on Simulation in the Time Domain

In this paper,dynamics simulation of the milling process such as the cutting force,spindle power,torque,tool deflection and chip thickness is provided based on instant rigid cutting force model. Also,this paper presents a strategy of cutting parameters optimization based on simulation in the time domain. The validity and practicability of this strategy is testified by experiments. And the optimization of the cutting parameters based on simulation results has observably improved the material removal rate(MRR) and cutting efficiency. So the efficiency of machining tools is increased greatly.
