Design of an automatic oil measurement device based on microprocessor

The measuring method of single well liquid production is based on manual work in the metering rooms. The workers can get the information by magnetic level gauges. In order to improve the method, the microprocessor is used to design an automatic measuring device. The operating principle of the circuit is introduced, which consists of STC89C51, DS1302 and 74HC595 chips. The accessing circuit and programming ideas are presented in detail.The results of field tests show that the device can complete the measurement in 0~60 minutes and improvework efficiency.
