Review & simulation studies of electrical discharge machining servomechanism controller

This paper will be discussing on a recently developed model for gap control between the electrode and workpiece in electrical discharge machining in order to improve the efficiency of machining. The simulation for DC motor model in electrical discharge machining is performed using different types of controller such as PI, PD and PID as well as the development of controller using PI and PSO. The selected controller will be used for servomechanism control in biomedical application.
