Application of Fluorescent Tracing Techniques to Hydrologic Studies

A NUMBER have been of developed tracing techniques to enable have been developed to enable hydrologists and engineers to obtain a better understanding of the behavior and movement of water. Until recently, most tracer techniques have been limited to small-scale model or flume studies. Those studies that have been done on natural systems have mainly involved estuaries. Such studies have usually been used for learning the dispersion and flow properties of harbor waters in order to determine the capacities of various harbors to assimilate wastes.
