Simulation of resistively terminated LC ladder filters using a new basic cell involving current conveyors

Abstract A simple, but general, synthesis method is given for the simulation of resistively terminated LC ladder circuits. The method is based on a new basic cell (BC) introduced in this work. The proposed method converts resistively terminated LC ladder circuits into inductorless active circuits involving only second-generation current conveyors (CCII±), grounded resistors and grounded capacitors. Hence it is suitable for fully integrated circuit design.
