AFT fuselage shape factors such as length, closure and upsweep angles of airplane can cause a significant change of drag coefficient. Also it is well known that the fuselage drag can be reduced by optimizing the AFT geometric characteristics. To examine the change of drag coefficient by increasing the length of the closure, AFT fuselage length was increased 1.2 and 1.4 times of original length. Variation of drag coefficient was found by changing length of AFT fuselage and tail strike angle as a side effect of fuselage length variation was discussed.
