This study conducted a three dimensional image analysis on the preemptive wrist(kote) attack motion against the coming forehead(men) attack by selecting kinematic factors affecting the success of techniques such as movement type of foot, movement type of the end of bamboo sword(sakigawa), necessary time for motion, etc. The target sample of the study was national women players. The study result reveals that, in conducting the preemptive kote attack, the motion for reducing the necessary time for impact and accommodating accurate blow is as follows: minimizing the movement of sakigawa of the bamboo sword (shinai) toward right and left: moving straight and striking a blow on the right wrist of an enemy after moving to the left from the location where the sakigawa was originally placed: and the stepping of the right foot should be made after moving toward the right foot direction(left) of an enemy where the target is located. The result of this study can be valuably used for providing effective motion type of the preemptive kote attack for women players and providing scientific data to general trainees or players.
