IMPROVEMENT AND APPLICATION OF THE TECHNOLOGIES OF PREVENTING EXPLOSIVE'S SELF-INITIATION

Based on the in situ experiments on explosive's self initiation (ESI) in several sulphurous mines, the mechanism and harm of ESI are analyzed. Furthermore, a simplified criterion of ESI and a simple, practical and accurate method to test an ore sample are proposed. And according to these, the method of preventing ESI, that is, separately administering different areas, is provided. All of these can produce great benefits of economy and society. They also prove to be useful in the theoretical research and the study of preventive measures of ESI in sulphurous mines.
