A micro-method for the quantitative determination of deoxyribonuclease.

A diffusion slide assay using a thin layer of deoxyribonucleic acid agar has been developed as a micro-method for the quantitative study of deoxyribonculease. Concentrations of deoxyribonuclease down to 0.005 μg/ml can be measured with high reproducibility. The enzyme needs no prior purification and small quantities only are required for each test. The method is particularly suitable for the measurement of large numbers of samples.
