An experimental study on blind symbol rate estimation

An experimental and statistical performance analysis of cyclic correlation (CC) and periodic variation (PV) methods are subjected for blind symbol rate estimation. In particular, typical and extreme conditions of offset frequency presents between transmitter and receiver carriers have been considered in the analyses. In this study, the experimental received signals for gSM (900 MHz) channels are obtained for various conditions as it can verify the statistical (theoretical) channel conditions and blind symbol rate estimations are carried out usinğ experimental and statistical data as in Monte Carlo simulations.
