A Distributed Resource Allocation Scheme for Best Path Transmission in Multihoming Scenarios

In this article we investigate fair resource allocation for best path transmission in multihoming scenarios. Following the idea of network utility maximization, we propose the resource allocation model for best path transmission. In order to obtain the optimum of our model, we also give a distributed algorithm, which can achieve proportional fairness among competing sources. Simulation results are given to confirm that the proposed algorithm can achieve the optimum within reasonable iteration times.
