Requirements analysis for intelligent decision support systems

We propose a requirements analysis methodology for intelligent decision support systems (IDSSs). The key innovative features of our methodology are: a uniform approach for defining the heterogeneous requirements of IDSSs, which ensures that the requirements are well structured and can be easily understood and verified by business users; a model which breaks down the complexity of gathering requirements, by structuring the requirements at different levels of abstraction; and an approach which employs five different dimensions for gathering the requirements, which assists the analyst and helps ensure that the requirements are complete.<<ETX>>
