Exploration on personnel training for regional game industry development

This paper analyzes the development of the game recreation industry of Zhongshan City, as well as the teaching conditions of the local independent institute, based on which some explorations on the modes of nurturing talents for game specialty are made. First, the objective of personnel training for game specialty is claimed to be fostering the compound talents with the abilities of creative design and application development. Then the construction of the professional curriculum is discussed accordingly, and a multi-level curriculum is presented which consists of foundation courses, professional core courses and electives. Besides, the teaching contents and methods reform of some correlative courses are probed. Finally, the platform building for the practice training is also studied in detail.
