국내 열차제어시스템의 용어 정의에 관한 연구

Train signaling system in domestic high speed and main line railway has operated Automatic Train Control(ATC), Automatic Train Stop(ATS), and Automatic Train Protection(ATP). As European Train Control System(ETCS) Level 1 has been introduced since 2003, ATS has been upgraded with ATP. However, the various meanings of the term cause confusing because it of the train signaling system was not clearly defined. For example, ATP means that one is equal performance with ETCS Level 1. Another is wayside and on-board ATP device. The other is a product manufactured by the supplier. In this paper review terms of domestic train control system and we suggest to be helpful to define appropriate term.
