On the Wiener Index of Trees with Fixed Diameter

The Wiener index of a (molecular) graph is defined as W (G )= � u,v dG(u, v), where dG(u, v) is the distance between u and v in G and the sum goes over all the pairs of vertices. In this paper, we obtain the trees with minimum and second-minimum Wiener indices among all the trees with n vertices and diameter d, respectively.
