A survey of online students at the New York Institute of Technology was conducted to determine satisfaction with existing online student services and to find out what types of services would be desirable in the future. Although the online students were generally satisfied with many of the student services they were receiving, there was room for improvement. The institute's students wished to have many of the additional services (e.g., book clubs, a student newspaper, academic clubs, online tutoring, seminars on parenting and time management, and access to an online psychologist) similar to those offered at other schools.
