Enrollment Reform of Class for Exceptionally Bright Minors and Implementing Elite Education

The paper has summed up teaching practices and development loca of classes for fostering exceptionally bright teenagers in Xi′an Jiaotong University over the past twenty-plus years.It has also introduced the reform thinking idea for recruitment of candidates in such classes tailored for innovation education in favor of the talent selection,growth and fostering,and put forward corresponding actual measures of individualized innovation education,holding that the establishment of the classes for fostering exceptionally bright minors is an important form of the diversification of China′s higher education,and the tendency for further reform in the future should be focused on intensifying the reform of the enrolling mode,paying attention to the selection of innovative talents,and implementing individualized innovation education to cultivate the elite talents of the innovative type.
