SOC estimation of power battery for electric car based on method of fuzzy least square support vector machine

The method of fuzzy least square support vector machine was proposed to use in SOC estimation. In order to simulate the actual conditions, the simulation data was under the typical working conditions 10-15 of the Prius. The model took the current, voltage and the temperature as the inputs and the SOC as the output. The result shows the maximum error is less than 1%, and the estimation precision is high. This method was especially suitable for the electric car which worked under the changing current situation and was an improvement method for the SOC estimation.
