Pre-test market models for clinic management application

University as a research center has a responsibility to commercialize research products. Sebelas Maret University (UNS) is intensively developing featured products. A clinic management application has been developed to be the initial product by the inventor. The clinic management application is already developed in prototype form. The application should be tested before entering the market to determine compliance with the customers need. Technology Innovation Center UNS conducts a pre-test market survey to determine consumer wants and needs, target market, and knowing consumers assessment of the clinic management application. Pre-test market is conducted by distributing questionnaires in two stages. We use the 4P, 4S, and 4C marketing mix model as a reference to formulating questionnaires. The first stage aims to identify and obtain variables that considered by respondents in choosing an application to complete a job. The second stage, respondents are asked to give an assessment to the clinic management application. Both stages can provide input on inventors to make product improvement and gives an overview about application that required by customer to complete a job.
