Recently, disruption arising in communication networks is frequent as well as becomes intolerable to users. Current network usually carries a hefty amount of traffic which makes disconnectivity of some part in network unacceptable. In this paper, criticality issues of a network are presented when the network is subject to possible multiple failures. The transient and steady-state of criticality when series of failure occur were studied in order to comprehend the evolution of risks of network disruption. In conclusion, vulnerable parts on networks with possible high increasing rate towards the criticality, eventually leading to disconnectivity, should be paid particular attention to prevent foreseeable disasters.
