Application of simulation technology to design of power plant

In designing the power plant there are many problems with the traditional design method,for instance,the calculation is very complex,and the calculation of the dynamic characteristic is very difficult.So this paper puts forward the method of designing the power plant by using the simulation system of power plant.Then the mathematical model of a power plant is established by using the technology of modular modeling,and the simulation program is drawn up with C++ language to build the simulation system.Using the simulation system,a combined gas turbine with gas turbine power plant is designed.The design process and the result indicate that this design method can exactly calculate the dynamic characteristic of the power plant,and meanwhile optimize the characteristic parameters of every component.
