Ziegler-Nichols PI Control for AC Servo System

Aiming at the poor performance of the speed PI regulator in the permanent magnet servo system,Ziegler-Nichols PI control was proposed.Controller structure was introduced and Ziegler-Nichols adjusting principle was analyzed theoretically.Based on the simulation results,influence of the controller parameters on the system performances was studied,and rules of parameters selection and controller design were acquired.The results show that the proposed scheme has good robustness and auto-tuning capacity.
