Voltage control of distributed generation unit in islanded microgrid based on equivalent-input-disturbance approach

A voltage control method is presented to regulate the voltage of the point of common coupling (PCC) for distributed generation (DG) units in an islanded microgrid. This method employs the equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) approach to deal with the changes in the reference voltage and the variation in the load parameters. It aims to obtain desired tracking performance and eliminate the effect of load parameters variation without destroying the stability of the whole system. An internal model is used to guarantee the tracking performance, and an EID estimator is employed to estimate and reject the load parameter variation. Simulations show the effectiveness of voltage tracking and the robustness to load parameters variation.
