PURPOSE: A device for efficiency test of an airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is provided to perform efficiency test of an SAR on the ground in real time by controlling a 3-axis motion platform and a virtual target device. CONSTITUTION: A 3-axis motion platform (110) is combined with an antenna (140) and driven in the directions of roll, pitch, and yaw. A simulation target device (120) includes a target altering device/ A system testing device (130) interlocks the 3-axis motion platform with the target altering device in real time and controls the 3-axis motion platform and the target altering device. The target altering device adjusts the amplitude of an output signal based on information of a virtual target received from the system testing device, performs delays of range and phase, and simulates Doppler components.
