Design of an adaptive control system for DC servo motor

In this paper an Adaptive Control System, which is applied in the velocity control loop of a dc servo motor is presented. The system consists of a neuro fuzzy controller and a neural network model of the motor. It is shown how the neuro fuzzy controller is trained on-line with an error that is calculated through the neural network model. The structure of the controller is described as well as the architecture of the neural network.
