Volume interaction with voxels by manipulating 3D general grids

Enabling volume manipulation like clipping, deformation and cutting volumetrically has possibility of improving current software widely used in volumetric object modeling and surgical simulation. This presentation gives methods of volume interaction with voxel data using 3D general grids. As practical application on medical images, on-demand extraction on 3D reconstructed volume images and physics-based volumetric representation is presented.
