An efficient DCOC algorithm based on high-quality approximations for problems including eigenvalue constraints

Abstract An efficient DCOC algorithm for problems subject to the combination of static constraints and eigenvalue constraints is presented. The high efficiency of the proposed method lies in the fact that the Lagrange multipliers associated with stress constraints are evaluated explicitly, and therefore the dual-type problem involves only displacement and eigenvalue constraints which are highly reduced compared to traditional OC or dual methods. Fast convergence of the method is achieved by the high quality reciprocal linear approximation for displacement constraints and the Rayleigh Quotient Approximation for eigenvalues.
