THE DIFFUSION OF GASES THROUGH POROUS MEDIA

Summary The effect of the obstruction of solid on the permeability of porous media is examined. From this it is concluded that, in Penman's equation for diffusion of gases through porous media, the constant 0.66 should be replaced by at where a is the porosity.
