Analysis of Safety Length of the Pipeline Excavation of Petroleum Pipeline on Line Repaired

For the buried pipelines,it is very important to ensure proper excavation during overhauling.Comprehensively con-sidered and analyzed in this works are the excavation length of the pipelines which need repairing,the soil characteristics along thepipeline,the oil properties,pipeline pressure,the circumstantial force after the pipeline is re-buried,and other related factors.Be-sids,a mechanical model of the pipelines which are to be excavated is established.According to the characteristics of the model,thelargest integrated pipeline stress was determined when the pipeline was excavate,so as to determine the safety length of the pipelineexcavation.
