Description and ontogeny of Krugeria fuzhouensis sp. nov. (Acari: Trombidiformes: Tenuipalpidae)

Abstract A new species Krugeria fuzhouensis Xu & Fan sp. nov. (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) on Pterospermum heterophyllum (Sterculiaceae) from China is described and illustrated. The ontogenetic changes in idiosoma and leg chaetotaxy on the female, male, deutonymph, protonymph and larva are presented. A key to the world species is provided.
