Developments in researches and applications of tube hydroforming

The new development in tube hydroforming in China is introduced,including forming mechanism,process,press and application.Components with big section deference,abnormal section shape and curving axis and with branch are paid more attention.The aspects ranging from typical defects,forming precision to thickness distribution and the effects of process parameters on these aspects are presented.In detail,forming rule of control and utilization of wrinkling and principle of reducing calibration pressure are described.Finally,some typical components and their applications in aerospace and automobile industry are presented.
