Motion compensation of a space target based on mc-PPS model

The influence of the translation and rotation on a space target is analyzed in detail and the radar echoes backscattered by a space target are modeled using multicomponent polynomial phase signal (mc-PPS) model. Two methods to compensate the motion of the space target are proposed based on multilag high order ambiguity function (ml-PHAF). The simulation shows that these two methods can remarkably improve the radar image deformed by target motion.
