Low-temperature thermoelectric power of palladium-gold alloys

Abstract Measurements are reported of the thermoelectric power of palladium-gold alloys below 8 K as a function of concentration across the whole alloy series. Taken together with earlier results on palladium-silver alloys, these results demonstrate some basic problems of interpretation in terms of an s–d scattering model.
