3 Dimensional Reconstruction a Case Study of a Perspective Problem

One of the recurrent problems of computer graphics deals with perspective. The “forward solutions,” that is the determination of a perspective projection or image from a 3D environment, has been known in the western world since the time of the ancient Greeks. The “backwards solutions,” that is the reconstruction of a 3D environment from a projection or projections is a problem which is only solvable in certain cases.
