The use of neural technologies for advanced seismographs

Traditional seismographs detect and record the Earth movements and vibrations by using sensors of position and mechanical tracing systems. Wide areas monitoring needs installation of several seismographs, data collection through a geographical network and analysis of an incredible amount of data to detect the occurrence of earthquakes and extract their features. In this paper we discuss the use of neural networks to analyze seismographical data.<<ETX>>
