The Translation of Children's Literature under the Guidance of Skopos Theory——An Analysis of Chinese Versions of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland

German functional theory,Skopos theory requires translators first consider the purpose that the translated version intends to achieve in the target language and requires translators put target readers first while translating but not always faithful to the source text.Children's literature demands that the translators make it clear that the requirements of target children readers and the function of the source text,as well as the acceptance ability of target readers.Translators must clearly understand the characteristics of the source language and target language and pay more attention to both inter-lingual and intra-lingual factors so that a successful target text can be achieved.
