The Multi-Level SVPWM and its Carrier-Optimized Realization

This paper deals with SVPWM for multi-level inverter by carrier-based method. The principle of level-nearest-selected is demonstrated, which should be obeyed by multi-level PWM in general. Based on the isotonic-line in the vector space, the general rules for multi-level SVPWM is built up. Through analyzing on phases of harmonic injecting, the optimized formula of harmonic injected is deduced, with which the optimized multi-level SVPWM is realized effectively by carrier-based methods. Through numerical validation and simulation, conclusions derived in this paper is proved to be right and effective.
