Automatically shiftable vehicle transmission

The invention relates to an automatic transmission (1) for motor vehicles, comprising a drive shaft (2) that can be linked with an internal combustion engine, and an output shaft (3) that can be linked with at least one motor vehicle axle. The transmission is further provided with a manually shifted transmission (4) that comprises a first and a second planetary gear set (5, 6), a plurality of shift elements (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19) and an electrical machine (14) that is used as the starter/generator and/or for continuously adjusting the manually shifted transmission (4) and for an at least partial electrical operation of the vehicle. According to the invention, the electrical machine (14) can be linked with a first or a second shaft of the first planetary gear set (5) by means of two additional shift elements (12, 13).
