Summary form only given. We present an optimized WDM sampled-grating distributed Bragg reflector (SG-DBR) laser, easy to fabricate and using two low control currents, enabling the access to 101 cavity modes over 44 nm. This represents to our knowledge the highest number of addressable channels with high SMSR (>30 dB) ever reported.
