Integrated biological and chemical control of dry root rot on soybean.

Rhizoctonia bataticola and the trichoderma spp. differed in their sensitivity to fungicides and tolerance. Simultaneous application of T.Viride or T.harzianum with carbendazim to soybean seeds reduced dry root rot caused by R .bataticola. Yield of these treated plots was significantly higher (25 tonnes per hactare) as compared to check (1.4 tonnes per hactare). These results indicate integration of biological and chemical control of dry root rot of soybean
