Cutting force simplification model for output power smoothing and its simulation verification

The machine output power smoothing has an important significance to improve the efficiency and quality of machining. By the cutting power simulation based on classic dynamic cutting force model, this paper present a Simplified Cutting Force Model combined with gauss-newton iteration method. Physical simulation of complex cutting processing and cutting parameters optimization for cutting power smoothing can be achieved with high efficiency by using this model. Results show that it is an efficient and practical method to improve the stability of NC machining process.
