Silicon microring based modulator and filter for high speed transmitters at 1310 nm

We present silicon microring based high-speed modulator and highly tunable filter working near 1310 nm with CMOS compatible process. Our design shows great potential in building ultra-compact silicon photonic WDM transmitters for O-band telecommunications.
