An ontology-oriented decision support system for emergency management based on information fusion

This paper proposes a novel ontology-oriented decision support system for emergency management based on information fusion. An emergency ontology is first suggested for data and model integration, and then a five-layer framework-based decision support system is designed for emergency management in terms of the proposed ontology. In the proposed decision support system, multi-source data are integrated as the inputs and outputs of models, which are employed to preprocess the data for decision-making supporting. Finally, a case study on Tianjin Port Explosion is used to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed decision support system.
